Who We Are

Welcome to In Her Image Collective. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that facilitates black and brown women and girls seeing themselves in the image of God. We do this by using a traditionally holistic approach to address health disparities disproportionately impacting black and brown women and girls .

We achieve this goal through our evidence based educational, coaching, and outreach efforts and as partners with other non profit organizations across the globe. We also contribute to the research on the socioeconomic factors associated with these illnesses. Our holistic interventions incorporate the historical, cultural, and traditional attributes of black and brown communities.

At In Her Image Collective, space is made for authentic healing and radical love to take place. IHI is a safe space where authentic conversation can take place without judgement. We value sisterhood as well as solitude. We encourage and facilitate discovery as well as sacred rest so that being made whole can take place.

In addition to navigating resources, IHI develops programs for individuals and groups that promote holistic wellness.

 Meet The Founder

kETURAH cLARK-wEATHERS

Keturah Clark-Weathers is a Professional Certified Coach, a licensed Minister, and licensed cosmetologist . She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in African and African American Studies from The College at Brockport and a Masters of Religious Studies from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.

Keturah’s professional work is primarily helping women of color improve their overall wellness and quality of life through education, advocacy, and connection to resources. Her experience ranges from working with individuals one on one to large group settings.

Keturah’s work centers around the cultural, historical, and social implications of black women’s physical appearance and its direct relationship to their physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

In addition to her extensive community work, Keturah is a former salon owner where she has had the privilege of utilizing her extensive background to introduce wellness through a different type of platform, “the chair”.

Today, Keturah develops and implements programs that enhance collective community efforts through stages of change. Keturah trains ministry leaders and entrepreneurs on implementing practices that enhance the overall well-being of women and girls in communities of color.
